These pictures are not current. The driver side, hood, and trunk is all green. Passenger front end and door is premier. The passenger window is also broken and the door panel is missing. They stole some very special things that were in the car. Marjorie Deacon was planning on getting married on Sunday and all of the kids' shoes for the wedding were inside, the notebook with all of the wedding plans, menu and guest list (sentimental), all of my vital medications, a sentimental jacket, my fiancé's warm jacket. and thier kids' special blanket... And other things like booster seats, a few Christmas gifts and such...!!
"We just want our car and items back if anyone sees it. This is a huge blow for us and we can't afford to replace our car. "
Please keep your eyes open. We live in San Jacinto, it was stolen from Sun City. The deputy said a lot of the times cars stolen in that area show up in Homeland or Hemet/San Jacinto. Whoever did this not only derailed Christmas, but also our wedding this weekend. Sad that they couldn't see it was a family car by the booster seats and toys in the back seats and move on to another car. Thanks for keeping your eyes open.

Details:

On Sunday, December 21, 2014, at 7:30 AM, officers from the Jurupa Valley Police Department responded to the area of Pacific Avenue and De La Vista after receiving reports of a stolen tow truck in the area. Officers saw the stolen vehicle traveling south on Pacific Avenue and were able to follow the vehicle through the residential neighborhood. As officers tried to conduct a high risk vehicle enforcement stop, the driver of the stolen tow truck stopped in the middle of the road, placed the vehicle in reverse, and rammed the front end of the marked police vehicle before fleeing the scene. The impact caused major damage to the front end of the patrol car and injured the officer.

The stolen tow truck was located a short distance away and had been abandoned. Residents in the neighborhood reported seeing two white male adults running from the vehicle in the area of Avenue Juan Bautista and Montero Drive. An extensive search of the area for the suspects using K-9 officers and a helicopter was unsuccessful.
The injured officer was treated and released at a local medical center.

The Jurupa Valley Police Department will work diligently in identifying the suspects involved in this act of violence. We are seeking the public’s help with any information to assist in the investigation. Anyone with information on the identity or whereabouts of the suspects are urged to contact Deputy Tim Garrison at the Jurupa Valley Police Station during business hours at 951-955-2600 or after hours at 1-800-950-2444.
